The Purpose Behind the Study
I’m glad you’re here.
Running a successful coaching practice requires a unique set of skills—which many entrepreneurial coaches are left to figure out on their own.
This gap inspired The Business of Coaching, A Global Study on the Practices and Behaviors of Coaching Entrepreneurs.
The goal of this study is to empower the coaching community with independent, objective research to help us all make smarter, more informed decisions as business owners. Less guesswork, more data.
Nearly all research questions were inspired by fellow coaches who shared what they were most curious about and what they felt would provide the greatest value—topics like pricing models, revenue sources, marketing and prospecting strategies, administration tools, technologies, and more.
With input from practitioners at all career stages and specialties, the study explores how we spend our time, money, and energy. It highlights the business habits, practices, and perspectives that can help you fine-tune your coaching practice, whether you’re just starting out or have been coaching for years.
This study is not an opinion piece or a “one-size-fits-all” playbook that tells you how to run your business. It’s about providing more insight to help you better understand the business development side of coaching—and the inspiration to build a practice that’s as resilient and unique as you are.
As coaches, we invest so much in our clients’ success. As business owners, we must also invest in our own.
Congratulations on investing in yourself.
